Woman In Custody After Allegedly Refusing To Come Down From Bridge Near I-44 & Yale

A woman is in custody on Thursday morning after Tulsa Police say she Allegedly spent more than five hours on top of a bridge near I-44 and Yale.

Officers say it all started around 10:15 p.m. on Wednesday night.

Officers had to shut down the part of I-44 and divert traffic off the highway for hours.

The woman was taken into custody around 4 a.m. and loaded into an ambulance.

Police have not yet released details on why she was on the bridge.
