The Oklahoma Senate voted 45 to two to override Governor Kevin Stitt's veto of Senate Bill 1130.
The bill would put $600 million in Federal Medical Assistance Percentage funds back into the general appropriations budget. It would have gone to the Oklahoma Health Care Authority.
"The measure passed overwhelmingly in both the House and Senate. The list of projects that the Oklahoma Health Care Authority wants to appropriate these monies to is worthy of legislative consideration," said Senate Pro Tem Greg Treat in a statement.
