Organizers Unveil Poster For Tulsa's 50th Annual Mayfest

Tulsa's 50th annual Mayfest starts in just a few weeks.

Organizers unveiled the poster for this year's event on Wednesday.

This year's poster was painted by Patrick Gordon, who was an artist at the first Mayfest in 1973. Gordon says he hid a secret on this year's poster.

"There's an easter egg on this painting. So you can look for that. Something that you don't know, it's hidden. You can look for it," said Gordon.

Mayfest starts on May 12th and copies of the poster will be on sale.

This is the first year that TU will be in charge of the festival.
