A Rogers County woman is headed to prison for life for her role in abusing her three-year-old daughter.
Investigators who worked on this case over three years ago took the stand and said this was one of the worst cases they’ve seen.
Jeannette Wilson helped her boyfriend, Gustus Pennington, torture Wilson's three-year-old daughter, while the couple was high on meth, prosecutors said.
They locked the three-year-old in a room for six days while Pennington shocked her with a dog collar, beat her, and forced her to use the bathroom in a cinder block.
Assistant District Attorney Kali Strain said the amount of abuse the girl suffered is hard to describe.
"For a mother to do that to her child, for anybody to do that to a three-year-old little girl is unbelievable, is indescribable, but putting on there that it's her mother that participated in this torture just aggravates it even more," said Strain.
Prosecutors hope the little girl can find a way to put this trauma behind her and have a good, happy life.
Prosecutors said Pennington has also entered a blind plea and will be sentenced on May 10.
