A man who pleaded guilty in the disappearance of two Welch girls in 1999 is being released from prison next week.
Ronnie Busick pleaded guilty in 2020 to accessory to murder in the disappearance and presumed killings of 16-year-olds Lauria Bible and Ashley Freeman.
He was sentenced to 10 years in prison followed by five years probation.
On May 19th, he will be released after spending only two years and four months in prison after the DOC says he recieved credit for time served.
The Bible family expressed their frustrations about his early release late in April.

Attorney General Getner Drummond released a statment saying "I stand ready to assist any legislator who might wish to draft a bill addressing this clear problem."
He says anyone convicted of accessory to murder should be required to serve at least 85 percent of the sentence imposed.
