OSBI Use Excavator During Evidence Search On Henryetta Property Where 7 Found Dead

OSBI agents searched for evidence for a third straight day at the Okmulgee County property where seven people were found dead last week.

Agents searched the home on the property, used sonar technology to search ponds, and also used an excavator.

The Okmulgee County District asked OSBI to assist when some of the victims' family members didn’t think enough evidence had been collected initially.

“I know that there’s a thousand questions we all have and there’s a thousand answers we are never going to get,” said Ivy Webster’s grandmother, Shannon Boykin.

Shannon said she’s thankful to OSBI for continuing to investigate this tragedy. She said she understands it may not give them all the answers, but their goal is to get as many answers as possible to help keep this from happening again.

“Hell. Worse than hell,” said Shannon. That’s how Shannon described this last week, after her granddaughter, Ivy, and five others were murdered.

Investigators said convicted sex offender Jesse McFadden killed Ivy and her friend, Brittany Brewer, along with his wife and her three children, before killing himself.

“Things need to change. This should not have happened. It should not happen again,” said Shannon.

Shannon and other family members went inside the McFadden home days after the murders and said they found Ivy’s cell phone and other items that weren’t collected.

“With him having that history of pedophilia, and doing time, I think absolutely, definitely it needed more attention, because there were computers and hard drives left in that house,” said Shannon.

Shannon said the medical examiner told her Ivy had been sexually assaulted.

Shannon said they wanted all of the electronics from the house taken to make sure there aren’t additional victims out there.

“He [OSBI] said I’m not releasing that scene until every stone is turned and that’s what we want. It may not be answers for us, but it may be answers for somebody else,” said Shannon.

Ivy's family held a funeral for her over the weekend. A service for Brittany Brewer will be Wednesday, May 10.
