Summer is quickly approaching and that means zoo nights are coming up at the Tulsa Zoo.
Zoo Nights started last summer. It's a chance for adults to explore the zoo after hours.
Amy Watson is the Director of Private Events and Venues. She says there was high demand after the first event, so the zoo is bringing it back for three nights in June.
"So, one of the really cool unique opportunities with this event is that you get to come out and there are no kids here. So, you get the full zoo experience, the animal buildings will be open until sunset. You can really just come and enjoy the entire zoo without kids running around," Watson said.
You can even learn a thing or two with keeper chats and animal demonstrations throughout the evening. Or you can hop on the train and explore the zoo from a different view.
There will also be live music and yard games.
The contact yard is one of many interactive areas that people can check out at zoo nights, where you can walk around and pet the goats.
Zoo Nights is limited availability. You can purchase tickets here: Zoo Nights | Tulsa Zoo
