The Best View: Cedar Ridge Neighbors Watch LIV Golf Event

The fans with the best view of the LIV Golf Tournament at Cedar Ridge are the people who live along the course.

Bob Mogelnicki has one of the best setups to watch golf this weekend.

The Broken Arrow man can walk out of his back gate right onto the 5th hole.

"I work out in the yard all day, every day because I'm watching the golfers," said Mogelnicki laughing.

Mogelnicki has lived on the course since 1996 and been a member at Cedar Ridge since 1987. Over the years, he's watched the area change.

"They've not really redesigned the course, but cleaned up the course to make it more playable for today's standards. And as far as the preparation for the tournament itself, it's been fantastic," he said.

Mogelnicki said all of his neighbors and friends have been looking forward to this weekend for awhile. And most have parties and events planned.

The bigger benefit is to the course and people who live in the area.

He hopes this tournament leads to even more professional events for him and his neighbors.

"As a member you give up a few weeks of golf for a membership like this,” said Mogelnicki. “It's worth every second."
