Man Hospitalized After Crashing Into Horse In Tulsa

A man is in the hospital and a horse is dead after an early-morning crash, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) Troopers.

Troopers say the crash happened around 12:45 a.m. near 66th Street North and Harvard.

The driver told troopers that the horse showed up in the road and he didn't have time to stop.

The driver was taken to the hospital after suffering some facial injuries.

The horse, who authorities believe the horse came from a nearby field, was killed in the crash.
