A new state law is designed to protect people from the dangers of carbon monoxide while boating.

Andy's Law requires a warning sticker to be on display on all motorized boats on Oklahoma waters.

The law was named after a nine-year-old boy who died in 2020 on Lake Eufaula.

He and his family spent the day doing watersports. Andy inhaled too much carbon monoxide and rolled off of the back of the boat, into the water.
