A Tahlequah family is desperate for answers, three years after a grandmother and daughter were killed in a fire.
Dustin Reese said his daughter Addison was an athlete and an artist.
"We should be getting ready for college, and senior picture and senior proms, and now we're just trying to remember them," he said.
Addison's grandma, Sharon Walters, was a jokester who would do anything for anyone.
"My mom had a big heart, and if you needed anything she would help you out as much as she possibly could," said Samantha Jackson.
Investigators said someone set Sharon's house on fire in June of 2020 when Sharon and Addison were inside.
"We know it was at the hands of someone else, which makes it even more difficult, because somebody took this from us," said Ashley Gassaway.
Dustin and his sisters, Ashley and Samantha, are doing everything they can to get answers.
The family is holding a Memorial Rally on Friday to bring awareness to the case, and to honor Sharon and Addison.
"Finding that balance of how do we raise awareness, how do we get answers, how do we also keep their integrity, and let people know how great they were," Ashley said.
The family said it's been a heartbreaking few years and it still feels like pieces of their family are missing.
"There's no way to sum up the loss that we have felt, and I would love to see that person or persons persecuted to the fullest extent," Ashley said.
There is a $5,000 reward for information on the case.
The memorial rally is Friday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Cherokee Nation Peace Pavillion in Tahlequah.
If you have any information on the case, call the Cherokee Nation Marshal Service at 918-207-3800.
