Tulsa Public Schools Holds Annual Athletics Hall Of Fame Banquet

The Tulsa Public Schools' annual athletics Hall of Fame banquet took place Thursday night. There are 12 members in the 2023 class.

Melvin Gilliam Senior, Ron Lancaster, Janet Griffith and Steve Turnbo are all part of the group.

Longtime Tulsa World writer Barry Lewis was also inducted. He attended Edison.

With forty years of telling stories, he said without the athletes, his job wouldn't be possible.
