Tulsa Zoo Welcomes Baby Giraffe

A new baby giraffe has been born at the Tulsa Zoo.

Zoo officials say the four-year-old giraffe Zoe gave birth to the female calf overnight and that mother and calf are doing well. They say animal care and veterinary teams are monitoring the the baby and that it appears to be healthy and strong so far.

The new giraffe's name will be revealed soon.
