Warming up on this Tuesday. Highs today will climb into the mid 80s with 90s in the southwest.
Tomorrow will be hot! Highs will be close to records, and we may break several records across the state. Highs will soar into the 90s.
A weak cold front moves in Thursday and drops highs to the 70s and 80s. Friday looks mostly dry with the exception of the southeast. Afternoon storm chances go up from Ardmore to Sallisaw and south. A few may be severe.
The weekend will be stormy for some! Highs in the mid 80s and Gulf moisture surges in. Still too far out for many details on timing or exact locations, but ingredients do become favorable for strong rotating supercells. This could mean large hail, damaging winds, and tornadoes.
As of now, Saturday is a low threat, while Sunday and Monday look to be more active. Make your plans, just stay weather aware. Stay with News9, we will keep you advised.
