Putnam City Schools Teacher Arrested

A teacher from Putnam City Schools has been arrested. 

Michael Briglin has been arrested and charged with domestic abuse in the presence of a minor.

Briglin is now on leave at Putnam City Schools, according to the school.

Putnam City School’s statement:

Putnam City Schools Administration was made aware of the arrest of a District teacher on Wednesday evening. The arrest does not involve students, employees, or the school. The teacher is currently on leave and has not returned to the classroom. Further inquiries into the nature of the arrest should be directed to the Oklahoma City Police Department.
