Sperry Wins Against Beggs, 37-22

A rematch of the 2018 2-A state title game was Thursday night in Sperry, as the Pirates hosted Beggs.

Picking this one up in the second quarter, Landon Brooks got the handoff and fought his way in for the touchdown. 21-8 Pirates.

Beggs' turn now. Trevin Cooper got his number called and got a touchdown for the Demons to cut into Sperry's lead after the two-point attempt was good.

Brooks was in control, but not for long. It was knocked out by Beggs, and Trevin Cooper was there to recover. Demon ball was on their own three-yard line.

Billy Ramsey with the pressure in his own territory. The flag was thrown for intentional grounding. Safety for the Pirates' defense.
