'This Has Inspired Us': Chief Hoskin Jr. Tours A New Leaf In Owasso

Cherokee Nation Principal Chief Chuck Hoskin Junior got a tour of A New Leaf in Owasso on Wednesday.

A New Leaf provides job training, life skills, and residential services for people with developmental disabilities and autism. 

"This has inspired us to see how we can do more," said Chief Hoskin. "I think this model is something we need to see more of across, certainly the region, it was specifically wonderful to meet a Cherokee citizen who is here it has certainly been a wonderful morning."

The Cherokee Nation has recently donated $125,000 to A New Leaf.
