A man who was shot and killed at a Tulsa home early Friday morning has been identified by police.
The Tulsa Police Department said Tyler Gattis was found with a gunshot wound in the basement of a home near 22nd and Rockford Avenue.
Gattis was taken to the hospital where he later died, police confirmed.
Police said the family believed someone was inside the home when their dogs started barking, so they began searching.
Police said one of the family members found Gattis hiding behind a couch, where he was shot.
Gattis was identified as the shooter's brother and police confirmed through an investigation with the homeowners that he had not been allowed in the home for several years.
The shooter was questioned and released by the Tulsa Police Department pending further investigation.
