People in the Broken Arrow Public School district will vote Tuesday, Nov. 14, on a $52 million bond proposal.

This bond would go towards building a new transportation facility, do some school maintenance, and upgrade technology.

There are four propositions on the ballot.

Proposition 1 makes up the majority of the allocated money, and $48 million would be used to build a building for the school buses and upgrade the district's technology.

Proposition 2 would be used to buy new buses. The average age of a district school bus is 13 years old.

Propositions 3 and 4 are part of the 2015 bond issue. Voters could vote on making changes to those previous plans if they choose.

Voters will be able to vote on each proposition separately. If the bond passes, there will be no tax increase. The bond will need 60 percent approval to pass.
