A woman who is collecting items and toys for kids in need for her nonprofit says one of the donation drop off bins was taken.
Brandie White is passionate about helping kids in the community who need it most.
Brandie decided to start the Greater Generation Foundation and hosts events where kids can have fun and enjoy being kids.
"I bring those events right to them in their communities, and it just provides an outlet for them to get away from what they might be dealing with at home," she said.
She collects different items that will be sent home to families.
"We provide resources such as clothing, food, coats, socks, shoes, and then what the kids enjoy most which is toys and bikes and things like that," she said,
But for the second year in a row, she's lost an entire box of donations.
She says this year she had a donation box sitting out at a store, but now the box is gone.
She says the same thing happened last year at a different store.
"I was actually discouraged, I was hurt, just because I know there are so many children out here that need that support, they need those items, even one or two items makes a difference in a child's life," she said.
Brandie says she's now focusing on her event Saturday and making sure kids in Green Country are taken care of and can have a great Christmas.
"I know they are in need because I walk with them, I've been in there communities, I've spent time with these children," she said.
