As Professional Bull Riding fans filter through the doors of the BOK Center this weekend, they'll be greeted with a new PBR Hall of Fame Exhibit. It's part of a new partnership that hopes to connect more fans to the sport in Oklahoma.
As thousands of people fill the BOK Friday night for professional bull riding, they'll get the chance to look back at some of the biggest moments in the sport's 30-year history thanks to a new exhibit.
The new mobile PBR Hall of Fame is in the lobby of the BOK and features videos and information about heroes of PBR past and present, giving fans a chance to relive some of the biggest rides and wildest wrecks from over the years.
The mobile exhibit is part of a partnership with The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum, which now houses the PBR Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City.
PBR CEO Sean Gleason says bull riding and cowboy culture go hand in hand, and fans here in Tulsa will love the closer look into history.
"Our fans are some of the most engaged fans in the world; they're passionate about the sport, the riders, the bulls, and this is just a little slice of history for them to remind themselves of the heroes of the past," said Gleason.
The new mobile exhibit will travel across the country in all PBR Unleash the Beast events for the rest of the season.
