Tulsa Man Accused Of Killing Roommate Is Arrested In Tulsa

The suspect in a deadly shooting is now in custody, according to the Catoosa Police Department.

Officers confirmed that Juan Rodriguez-Campa was caught Tuesday morning during a pedestrian check and will be transported to Tulsa. Rodriguez-Campa is accused of shooting and killing Mario Munoz after the two got into a fight near a home near I-244 and Sheridan on Sunday.

Police said they arrived at the home on East Jasper Street to find a Munoz on the front porch of the home with two gunshot wounds. Munoz was taken to the hospital where he later died, police said. Officers said Rodriguez-Campa is a roommate of Munoz and had run from the scene after the shooting.

A warrant has been issued for Rodriguez-Campa for first-degree murder.
