Local Deli Sees Increase In Catering Orders For Game Day

Lambrusco’z Deli is buzzing with activity as it tackles the Super Bowl rush.

The staff is preparing a lineup of fan favorites from sandwiches to wings, to their famous white queso. 

 “We don’t stop making it all day when we’re doing football," said Owner Nancy Bruce.

She says the dips are also what a lot of people are wanting to buy.

“I tell people all the time that I love football and they’re like ‘you do?’ and I’m like ‘no, I sell dips for football that's why I love football’,” she said.

And the customers are grabbing their favorites while the shelves are stocked.

Bruce says this operation wouldn’t run as smoothly as it does without the dedication of the staff

“They’re like ‘oh my gosh, you have so many employees’ and I look at them and say “see any of them standing still? No’," she laughed.

They’ve all been working tirelessly awaiting the countdown to kickoff.

“We had so many orders this morning it was crazy, and then we opened, and we still had postings going for catering,” said one employee.

Preparing meals people can easily pop in the oven and that make a perfect game day grub.

Proving Lambrusco’z is a go-to spot for football feasting.
