Artists, Sculptors Visit Tulsa For NatureWorks Art Show

Nature artists and sculptors are in Tulsa this weekend for the annual NatureWorks Art Show and Sale.

More than two dozen wildlife, western and landscape artists have exhibits on display this year.

Some Oklahoma high schoolers are also showing their projects after submitting art and essays about conservation.

"A lot of them take the effort and write paragraphs about their art, and it's often to help nature and further conservation," said NatureWorks art show director Michael Linscott.

People can browse paintings, sculptures and carvings while contributing to a good cause.

Money made this weekend goes to groups across the state that are helping protect Oklahoma wildlife.
