Students from Tulsa elementary schools showed off their culinary skills in the Sodexo National Future Chef's Challenge Wednesday night.
They were given a theme, and recipes were judged on taste, healthiness, kid-friendliness, plate presentation, and more.
News On 6's Dave Davis was one of the judges.
McClure Elementary 4th Grader Keydren Mingo won the competition with his Shrimp Alfredo with Chicken recipe.
He moves on to regionals.
A National Champion is expected to be named in May.
