Tulsa Police Arrest Gang Member After Traffic Stop Leads To Recovery Of A Gun, Drugs

A man who police say is a gang member was arrested after bags of cocaine were found in his mouth during a traffic stop.

Tulsa Police said they stopped DeMarco Cox on Friday near Admiral and Garnett. A loaded handgun and other drugs were found in his vehicle, police say.

A records check confirmed Cox is a convicted felon and gang member.

Police booked Cox on two complaints of possessing drugs with the intention to distribute, DUI and other complaints.
