OSDE Defends Superintendent Amid Capitol Rally Calls For Impeachment

The State Department of Education issued a statement on behalf of State Superintendent Ryan Walters after Oklahomans gathered at the capitol cally for Walters impeachment Saturday.

Lawmakers, educators, students, and activists rallied and added to the growing calls for Walters's impeachment.

This follows controversies over school security funding and possible violations of the Open Meetings Act.

OSDE criticized the rally saying:

"Oklahomans didn't need additional proof that Democrats are porn deniers, want government, not parents to be in charge, and want radical indoctrination in the classroom."

They later said Walters will never back down to the left-wing mob that controls Democrats.
