Jenks Police Arrest Driver After Crashing Into Patrol Car

Jenks Police arrested a man who they say crashed into one of their police cars.

Police say they were responding to a crash Saturday night where a vehicle crashed into a barrier, causing them to close a lane of Highway 75.

Officers say they turned flashing emergency lights before another driver hit one of their cars.

Police say the officer was not in the car at the time and did not get hurt.

Officers say the driver had young passengers in the car.

The driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated and child endangerment, according to police.
