The Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma and Helping Hands Food Pantry are receiving a grant thanks to a new partnership between US Foods and Feeding America.

The $750,000 grant is being donated to food banks across the nation as part of the "Direct to Neighbor" project.

The goal of the project is to make food more available for fast pickup in new temperature-controlled lockers.

This is US Foods’ largest single monetary donation.

The food banks are expected to receive the grant by the end of this year.
