On Friday evening, the Tulsa Garden Center will host its biggest fundraiser, Wine & Roses, at Woodward Park's Arboretum.
This upscale garden party invites attendees to dress up and enjoy a delightful evening while supporting the park's ongoing beautification and educational program.
Unlike the Spring Fest, which serves as a garden market for shopping, Wine & Roses focuses on creating a festive atmosphere.
Attendees can look forward to a variety of fun activities and raffle prizes. The prizes include a Talavera piggy planter and a bird bath in a similar style.
Another exciting feature of the event is the extensive wine pool. For a small donation, attendees can purchase a ticket to win a wrapped bottle of wine, with potential values reaching up to $120.
This presents an opportunity to support Woodward Park while taking home a quality bottle of wine.
Briana Hefley-Shepard, a representative from Woodward Park, highlighted the park’s ongoing challenges. As one of Tulsa's treasured spaces, the 45-acre park requires continual maintenance and restoration efforts, especially given its historical significance. Recent projects have included plumbing repairs for the fountains and the restoration of the conservatory.
Those interested in attending can still register online at TulsaGardenCenter.org/wine-and-roses.
Tickets will include endless bites and drinks from over 30 different local restaurants and drink experts, as well as live jazz.
Wine & Roses takes place on Sept. 27 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
