Tulsa Regional Chamber Brings Together Education Leaders

In our Oklahoma's Own Focus On Kids, we're highlighting how the Tulsa Regional Chamber is bringing together education leaders from across Tulsa.

The Chamber hosted leaders from several school districts, colleges and career training centers on Wednesday.

They talked about ways they can all support students.

"It allows us to make connections,” said TPS Superintendent Dr. Ebony Johnson. “It allows us to network on behalf of our schools and it gives people a glimpse of all the things that are taking place so that our students can actually thrive."

Johnson says this year, TPS is seeing an increase in students participating in programs with TCC and Tulsa Tech.
