A 61-year-old man died after crashing his motorcycle while driving too fast in the fog overnight.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Kendall Asher was riding on E. 1070 Road near Muldrow in Sequoyah County when he crashed around 10:15 p.m.

Troopers said there was very dense fog in the area and he was speeding, swerving his bike in and out of the road before landing in the street.

He was taken to a hospital in Arkansas where he died from his injuries in the crash, according to medical personnel.

OHP said Asher was not wearing a helmet.
