Owasso Holds Off Deer Creek 40-26

Owasso is hosting Deer Creek, with the winner advancing to face Jenks in the semifinals next week.

Second quarter: The Rams are driving when Jaylon Moll takes the handoff, picks up the first down, and is tripped up just short of the end zone.

A few plays later, Drew Frankenfield finds Colton Sudbeck over the middle for a touchdown off play action. The Rams lead 27-0.

Second half: Deer Creek tries to mount a comeback with a diving catch in the end zone to get on the board.

On the next Owasso drive, Frankenfield again runs play action and connects with Noah Hill. Hill dodges a couple of defenders and takes it all the way to the house.

Owasso wins 40-26 and will face Jenks next week in the semifinals.
