Missing Sand Springs man found dead in McIntosh County

The sheriff's office said he was found about a mile from where his car was recovered.

4 Killed In Osage County Crash, OHP Says

TULSA, Okla. -

A Sand Springs man reported missing in December was found dead in McIntosh County on Tuesday, authorities say.

The Osage County Sheriff's Office confirmed to News On 6's Reagan Ledbetter that Zachary Smith was found about a mile from where his car was recovered.

OCSO said the Medical Examiner will determine his cause of death.
