Rising county music singer John Morgan says 'Carolina Blue' album is 'A dream come true'

John Morgan, a talented new voice in the country music scene, recently gained significant attention with his latest single, "Friends Like That," featuring Jason Aldean.

The song hit the top 10 on the charts, and Morgan joined News On 6 this week to talk about his new album, "Carolina Blue", and his musical journey.

He said he is eager to share the songs that he has worked hard to create, seeing this opportunity as a culmination of years of dedication and passion for music.

“It's a dream come true for me. I've been chasing the music thing for a long time, and so it's cool to see it pay off a little bit,” said Morgan. “I love getting to write songs and see the full circle of starting an idea and then bringing it to life in the studio, and then getting to play it in front of people live.”

Morgan moved to Nashville to follow his dreams and has written songs for notable artists like John Party and Dustin Lynch. Jason Aldean has also been a prominent supporter of his work.
