A high-energy night is planned at Guthrie Green on April 26 as Sammy Rae & The Friends launch the 2025 Off the Cuff Concert Series.
The Brooklyn-based indie group hits the stage Saturday night, joined by Tulsa’s own Count Tutu and DJ SUPERP.
It’s a free outdoor show with live music and local flavor.
En Fuego and other food trucks will be serving up eats, and for one weekend only, fans can sip an exclusive Blue Velvet Margarita—created to match the vibe of Sammy Rae’s latest album artwork.
The party starts at 7 p.m., when DJ SUPERP kicks off the evening.
Count Tutu, a nine-piece funk and soul fusion group, takes the stage at 8 p.m. then at 9 p.m., it’s showtime with Sammy Rae & The Friends.
Guthrie Green says the band is known for their genre-blending mix of funk, jazz, classic rock and soul. Sammy Rae & The Friends have built a global fanbase on the strength of their live shows.
Their latest album, Something for Everybody, dropped in 2024 and quickly sold out at Rough Trade NYC after racking up 20,000 pre-saves.
The group has more than 8 million views on YouTube and 5 million monthly streams.
Bring a blanket, grab some tacos, and settle in for a night of dancing under the stars. The concert is at Guthrie Green, 111 E. Reconciliation Way in downtown Tulsa.
Tulsa-bred indie rock group, Broncho, is kicking off its Natural Pleasures Tour with a free concert at Guthrie Green on Saturday, June 14, as part of Guthrie Green's Off the Cuff concert series.
Tulsa's own Terrance McQuade Trio will open the show. This is an all-ages concert.
