Applications open for Thunder Fellows program

The Thunder Fellows program is now accepting applications for its fifth cohort in the 2025-2026 school year. The free after-school program is open to black high school juniors, seniors, and college students in the Tulsa area.

The program is located inside the high-rise at 222 N Detroit Ave. near Tulsa's Greenwood District. It is designed to equip students with technical knowledge, critical thinking skills, and access to mentorship and networking opportunities.

Students will learn about careers in sports, entertainment, and technology. Participants also receive valuable networking opportunities with professionals, including those with the Oklahoma City Thunder.

High school students participate in semester-long programming, while college students engage in a year-long format.

Applications will be accepted through June 8.
