Tulsa police are investigating two homicides from over the weekend.

Police say a road rage incident ended in a deadly stabbing and, in a separate case, a man was shot and killed.

6th and Garnett Homicide

Police say the road rage happened Saturday evening and ended near 6th and Garnett.

A man said 34-year-old Miashah Moses was tailgating him, followed him through his neighborhood and parked near his house, so he confronted her. He says she started hitting him and his vehicle with a tire iron. Police say he stabbed her in the stomach, and she later died in the hospital. Police say the man was defending himself, so he was questioned and released.

“The evidence that they’re able to collect is going to point to a non-arrest at this point right now," said Officer Danny Bean with the Tulsa Police Department.

Court records show Moses served time in prison for child neglect in connection with an apartment fire in 2013, where her 2 nieces were killed.

North Cheyenne Avenue Homicide

Later that same night, police responded to a shooting on North Cheyenne Avenue. Officers say someone shot and killed 46-year-old Corey Fields and officers recovered several shell casings from different guns. Police say no one is in custody and witnesses aren’t being too helpful in piecing together what happened.

“There was a large gathering with multiple people with guns and a lot of shots being fired,” said Officer Bean.

Police say the DA will decide whether to file charges in the stabbing. If you have any information about who shot Fields, call Crimestoppers at 918-596-COPS.
