The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has located and recovered the bodies of a man and a young girl who went missing Monday in the water near Silver Canyon RV Ranch.

OHP says the pair were in a canoe with two other people when the canoe capsized. The two others in the canoe made it out safely, but the man and young girl did not resurface.

The incident occurred in a small body of water approximately 24 feet deep on the property, located between Muskogee and Oktaha.

The names of the victims have not been released at this time.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are continuing to review the circumstances surrounding the incident.

This is a developing story, we will provide updates as more information becomes available.
