about 30 cupcakes
Ingredients:
1 Package (2-layer) reduced fat cake mix3 cups prepared chocolate, orange, or white frosting
9 oz of small jelly beans or chocolate covered raisins or candy corn
60 (3-inch pieces) black or purple string or pull-apart licorice
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare the cake mix using package directions.

Fill muffin cups sprayed with nonstick cooking spray 2/3 full. Bake for 13 to 15 minutes or until a wooden toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cool in muffin cups on a wire rack for 15 minutes. Transfer the cupcakes to a wire rack to cool completely. Spread the top of each cupcake with a small amount of the frosting. Use whole jelly beans to make ears for each cat. Cut the remaining jelly beans into halves and place over the frosting to represent the eyes and noses, Press the licorice pieces under the noses to make whiskers.
