Mayor Thanks Power Utility Crews

Many people now have their lights back on, thanks to the thousands of utility crews who have been working around the clock over the past week and a half restoring power to the Tulsa metro area. The majority of those linemen and tree trimmers are from outside the state. Wednesday morning, Tulsa Mayor Kathy Taylor took time to thank the workers for all their hard work.

Mayor Taylor spoke to the workers during breakfast at the Tulsa County Fairgrounds.

Many of the workers have been staying at the fairgrounds while they worked around the Tulsa metro area in helping PSO crews restore power
