The growing Hispanic population in Tulsa has prompted a local radio station to hold the first big Hispanic job fair in the history of the city. It was held at the Radisson on East 41st Street Tuesday.

Hispanic job seekers met with vendors from some pretty large Oklahoma employers like QuikTrip and Home Depot. All of the companies had bilingual representatives on hand to help with the application process.

Job seekers said it was helpful to have all of the companies together in one room. Martha DeLaRosa: "there are a lot of jobs that people don't know about many times, so it's a good thing."

The radio station in charge of the job fair, La Grande Radio, plans to hold another one in a couple of months.
