Two of the three fastest-growing counties in Oklahoma are in Green Country.

Rogers, Wagoner and Canadian counties had the biggest population increase in Oklahoma over the past five years according to the US Census Bureau.

Rogers County saw 14-percent growth. Canadian County saw 12 percent growth and Wagoner County experienced 6 percent growth.

Experts say the suburban sprawl comes when people want to be close to the city but live in the country.

On the other hand, 34 of Oklahoma's 77 counties lost population over the five year period.
