OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A 10-year-old boy has died after being shot in the head while sleeping in his home, hospital officials said.

Mack McCray was shot about 4 AM Tuesday by someone who walked up to his home in northwest Oklahoma City and opened fire into at least two windows, according to police.

The boy was taken to the OU Medical Center where he died Wednesday, hospital officials said.

The police department's gang unit and homicide detectives were both working the case, said Sgt. Fernando Hernandez, but no suspects or motive had been determined.
