MANNFORD, Okla. (AP) -- An Oilton woman is dead after crashing her car on an icy highway near Mannford in northern Creek County.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Sharon Wright was killed in the accident on State Highway 51 early Thursday morning.

Troopers say it was snowing as Wright was westbound when she lost control of her car and ran off the roadway. Troopers say the car then rolled two-and-a-half times down an embankment and ended up on its top.
