The accident happened about 7AM Friday on the 49th West Avenue entrance ramp onto the Sand Springs Expressway.

According to Tulsa Police, a man stopped on the ramp and got out of his car to scrape ice off his windshield. Soon after, a woman trying to merge into traffic, struck the man.

He was taken to the hospital with a broken ankle.
