News on 6 Chief Meteorologist Jim Giles is celebrating 25 years with the News on 6 Thursday.

A big anniversary celebration was held for Jim at our studios downtown. Mayor Bill LaFortune was also on hand to officially make April 6th Jim Giles day in the City of Tulsa.

During his time at KOTV, Jim has repeatedly been voted Tulsa's most reliable weather forecaster.

We would like to thank Jim for his expert severe weather coverage, which has helped folks across Green Country stay safe for quarter of a century.
