KAW CITY, Okla. (AP) -- The body of a Blackwell man is recovered from Kaw Lake after he apparently fell from his fishing boat.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 65-year-old Bufford Ropp was found floating in the water Wednesday by a fisherman.

The fisherman found Ropp's boat abandoned and was towing it back to a boat ramp when he discovered Ropp's body and notified authorities.

The OHP says the cause of death will be determined by the medical examiner.
