A high speed chase overnight in Tulsa County leads to the search for a suspect with a stolen vehicle.

Tulsa County Sheriff’s deputies spotted a pick-up truck speeding on US highway 75. They gave chase, and the suspect drove to the Parkview Terrace Apartments near Santa Fe and 61st Street.

They lost sight of it between buildings and found it abandoned. Two suspects got away. A woman called police moments later and reported the vehicle stolen. She says she left her keys in the truck while it was parked in her driveway.

Another man with a history of run-ins with Tulsa Police is taken to the Tulsa County jail overnight.

He led police on a chase after an officer tried to stop him. The suspect turned off his lights and sped off. He drove into some trees and abandoned the truck, but was arrested a few moments later in the 1500 block of East Mohawk Boulevard.

Tulsa Police say he had several outstanding warrants.

Officers found an air gun and evidence of drinking on the floorboard of the truck.
