The Tulsa County Sheriff's Office is looking for the owner of two unique dogs.

Two Egyptian Pharaoh hounds were found last week in the 5900 block of West 8th Street in Tulsa. The two female dogs don't have identification chips or tattoos, so authorities aren't sure if the dogs escaped from someone's yard or if they were dumped.

Deputies want to stress that the dogs are not up for adoption because they believe they belong to someone in the Tulsa area because they are very rare and expensive.

Deputy David Long: "They date back to 4000 BC there are only 192 registered in the United States."

One of the dogs was recently spayed.

If you have any information on these dogs, or know whom they belong too, call the sheriff's office animal control officer at 855-9030.
